is the volume level for the speaker or for the headphones?

I was able to increase the realplayer playlist songlimit from 50 songs to 150 buy editing the /ezx_user/download/appwrite/setup/ezx_realplayer.cfg and changing the MaxNumOfItem value from 50 to 150.
You can also change the MaxNumOfList value if you want to have more playlists, my default was at 7.
There is also a VolumeLevel value there, I changed mine from the default of 6 to 8, I'm not sure if it is any louder through the speaker though. Maybe I'll try 10 later.
I can't telnet to my phone for some reason(I think its a firewall issue) so I had to use scripts to copy the files but it worked ok using Yan0's file browser to delete the origional ezx_realplayer.cfg so I could copy over my modified version.
I got all this from the method of changing playlist limits for the 680i found here in the MotololaFans forum. Hope this helps anyone else that had an issue with the 50 song limit in playlists.

How do you go into the phone and actually change the script?
Hello, do you have "MyStuff" program installed in your phone? Use MyStuff to browse the files inside the phone and you can find the file, USE "Note" to open and edit the file.Originally Posted by lmolitor

hello
Change themes discussion....
After I replaced the .system folder of my TF card, I have MyStuff, LinLoader, Memext program. And I just add MPKG program to my Ming![]()
Yeah the volume setting appears to have no effect, either with the speaker or the headset.
I didn't know about the Note program, I'll have to have a look around for it. Thanks. The way I was doing it was to use a script to copy the file to the msd card then edit it on my computer, then use anouther script to copy it back to the phone. Being able to edit the file directly would be great.
I think you need to choose ASCII in the Decode by options in notes.
Motorola A1200, 46p Generic firmware, Rogers
That works great, thanks valkur.
I attempted using MPKG / My Stuff route and editing the ezx_realplayer.cfg file and saving it using both the ASCII and Auto settings on two different attempts using the Notes program in the A1200 and when you launch Real Player, it seems to remove the changes and the MaxNumOfItem fields etc. I could not get this route to work for me.
I did get it to work writing a simple copy script and using linloader to remove and load the .cfg file into my A1200 and it worked like a charm.
Now have 10 playlists and 500 song limit on each playlist. All this just so I could have one playlist with all my music (and then some for when the 2gb transflash comes out).
