you can change your USB mode to use it as a mass storage device in WinXP and then you can transfer things that way.
What version of MPT are you running? Mine is 4.1
Hello everyone, first off - I'd like to say that you guys have been a huge help - I've been reading all the posts for a few days and when I got my Ming this afternoon- I was able to fix a bunch of known issues thanks to all your helpful comments and questions.
Now... I've used MPT in the past and I've had issues- but generally, I was able to get it to work. After I installed this version of MPT that came with the phone - I did everything it said and it won't recognize the phone. In the past- I ve been able to get my Razr and V551 working - but I'm sorta lost with this one. Any deas on how to get this bitch to recognize the phone? Is it even worth it to use MPT? Any other apps that will allow you to transfer via PC to phone? Thanks for listening.

I have the same problem all the sudden. the phone tool was able to connect to my phone every since I purchased it. Then a few days ago MPT suddenly fail to connect to the phone, as described by redchordll.
Actually does anyone know how to backup the contact list without MPT? I search the forum but only find out instruction on how to backup the entire firmware... I don't need that yet since my phone is already 44P
I have the same problem. I tried everything like changed the mass storage and modem, but still..... Finally, I call Microsoft and they told me that Linux phone does not work with window. I am not sure whether he is right or not? End story, this bitch still does not work with my MPT and computer.
