A1200 and A1890?

Hello you, long time no post =)
You're all fine?

My dilemma is to know about A1890 that resembles A1200 in everything but I need to know if it's an open source (or handlable) phone or if it's like A1210 that's closed and soooo slow (I had to pack it up and dismiss for this).

Anyone can help?

According to Motorola A1890 - Full phone specifications the A1890 is more looking like A1200 than A1210.
To me it looks like an updated A1200 with GPS. The system looks like the QT interface like on the A1200.
Go get it and report back

I'm with a A1210 (dismissed), A1600 (using only for MMS) and A1200 (using only for SMS) and I NEED a new phone: only in China is sold, so need to get out my most impressive smile to have one of them shipped here =)

I am checking it 1890 seems and update of A1200.

I will find the firmware and check if we could PORT the firmware to our A1200 !!!
Same as before with A1600.

It is very similar, so maybe the firmware from A1890 works on A1200.

According to my data,it is called "GE00.17.00R " firmware.

I request help from chinese members that read motorolafans in ordert to download this firmware. Check it in baidu.com and forums are many sites to download it, but i have not access or understand chinese!.

I'm studying Japanese and not so much familiar with chinese =)
Anyway I've ordered my phone and I think I'll have it in two weeks as it comes from HongKong (Motorola made it only for the chinese circiut, damn!).
I hope I can help in someway to the development for A1200/A1890 (sob I miss my A1200!) =)
