[Q] How to undo EDGE patch

hi all,
Right now im using 42pL7 from epinter. The EDGE is enabled by default.
The only problem is, my operator doesnt have EDGE connection so when its show "E" on the bar, I cant use internet connection.

Please tell me how to undo the EDGE patch.

I had da same problem but when i use dia script it really work

Download this and opne ur Radio comm and use dis script by opening a setup button then browse the disable script and name and den set .
lastly cilck on that button dat u name AND DEN TA DA ur PHONE WILL NEED to reboot that is manually and den ur G is back....................................................

well I think your network provider is having EDGE service so you get an E symbol on the status bar as if your provider would not have EDGE then your phone would automatically switch to GPRS that is G since you have problem I would like you to try this this script which you can run using radiocomm

Procedure

Open radiocomm
click on setup button
then browse this script file
set a name to this new button (eg."Disable EDGE")
then click on this newly created button (It would start sending AT commands to phone it should take less than 5 sec)
after it says success

give the reboot command to phone OR manually reboot the phone.

this would remove the EDGE support from your phone that is your phone will become normal as no EDGE only GPRS
