Smile little help to understand my firmware

    Hi all,

First of all(my first post too ), glad to be part of this wonderful forum. Nice activity regarding phone utilities development. I used to have HP Ipaq WM2003 which was stolen a couple of years ago. So i bought a RED Ming A1200e unlocked. Since then i haven't made any changes or installed any other phone utilities(pretty boring rite).
Recently i came across this forum and thought to flash my ming(i did flash my Ipaq)

I am a little confused about the firmware to which i can flash my phone to. my phone details are
    R541L7_G_11.00.13R
    BP:R541L7_G_11.00.13R
    PFlex:GCZMINGEA0SPLA019
    DSP:63393900
    Technology: Quad band GSM
    Made in Brazil.

Since first two lines are same its a generic firmware( i guess, as per " GUIDE TO FIRMWARE and FLASHING A1200")

this means that i have a L7 track firmware with .13 as version number?? right?
    my question is " do i have a A1200/1600 hybrid firmware" ??

if possible tell me what firmware ver my phone belongs to from the below

[B]R532L4 - A1200I : the international language version (L4 track) - which is only available in Latin America. Comes with Spanish/Portuguese/French/English language support. Be careful if you decide to flash this phone - see section on "Spanish/Portuguese/French Language" below for more detail.

R541 - A1200E : newer A1200 Edge Series (released Jan 07). This firmware already has Edge enabled (For all other firmwares you have to do a radiocom mod to turn on Edge). Downside is that A1200E is only a tri-band phone rather than Quad-band. As of Dec 2007, 6 versions of firmware available:
    - R541_G_11.51.01P --> 29P --> 34P --> 04R --> 08R --> 09R

A1200/A1600 Hybrids: these hybrid firmwares with a combination of code from the A1200R and the new A1600 phone started to appear in late 2008. These hybrids can run on A1200, A1200R, A1200I and A1200E.

my phone is "made in Brazil" so shouldn't it be in A1200i track?

hope u guys understood what i meant. any advice is appreciated.

one request just make a backup of complete phone AP and BP both use backup application to backup AP and use my BP flashing method to make a backup of your BP

while these will really help you if just got messed up.

and since it is generic i would like you to share this after you make the backup

hope you will consider my suggestion.....
    Motorola A1200 : Generic 25P
    Motorola MOTOROKR E6 : Generic 22P
    Motorola MOTOROKR E6e : DEAD
    Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 : Stock ROM (Gingerbread 2.3.6) - ROOTED

    Hi,
will surely share, but in "GUIDE to FIRMWARE and FLASHING A1200" it says
At this time there is no way to extract/copy/backup a complete firmware version directly from a phone (see FAQ's for more detailed explanation why this is not possible). This means that you can not backup your firmware before flashing.
i searched the forum with keywords 'backup AP', 'backup BP' but i couldn't get to exact backup application which would backup complete phone.
It would be useful if u can provide the links for the programs,
    Thanks.

This app is to backup AP

    http://www.motorolafans.com/forums/a...app-getos.html

This method is to backup BP

    http://www.motorolafans.com/forums/a...users-try.html

NOTE : the whole method is to flash BP you just have to make backup it just requires some files and normal flash mode no testpoint method required so don't panic

and the application to backup your AP will be installed by using any mpkg or pkg installer use smart assistant or super assistant or lina anything wich installs

If you require any help please ask in details as i will be off line after tommorow for a month

    Hope this helps you
