Telnet to a1200E

Is there any way to telnet to an a1200E, with R541_G_11.56.11R firmware without flashing?

Yes, I dunno if any firmware has telnet by default, the solution i see is to install telnet,

Then maybe you don't have the USBnet mode in the "USB connectivity" menu, so read the openezx's wiki page " Get a shell - OpenEZX " , you will be able to send AT command via a terminal and put the phone in USBNet mode.

I know I need to install telnet, but I can't seem to get Mpkg to work with my a1200E firmware. I try to open a .pkg file with it and get an error.
