My A1200 doesn`t show some persons names when call me

Hi ,
When some persons contact me I can see only their numbers (not name) in screen while I have their numbers in my phone book and all of numbers are stored in my SIMCARD . This event is not for all persons ; for example when my brother contact me I can see his name on screen .
Please guide me , this problem is not acceptable for me .

Copy all the numbers to phone memory and see if the problem persists.
Usually I have seen that the sim card rejects long names for contacts, it rather takes some part out of it.

I copied all of my numbers from SIM to phone memory but the problem is not solved

take backup using MPT & delete all contacts or master clear & again restore & check.

Where can I find MPT ? Is it an application ? Can I copy numbers from phone to SIM again before deleting ?

It is network controlled.

I have seen somewhere in the phone options (diaplad>setup>show id), where we can control/request the network provider to hide the number from visibility to the person we are calling.This is purely network controlled.I guess ,it is unavailable in India for most providers but may be available in your region.
The persons in your contact list may have opted for the feature.
Try asking them casually.
