    hello everybody!
joncis, drhstoor and anybody who may face problems to download bolt browser, just follow these:

1)using your pc run a browser e.d. internet exporer or mozilla firefox and enter the url: Bolt Browser - Download

2)you need to register. . ."Name", "Email Address" and "Referral Code" are the only tags need to be filled. From the three options "Personal", "Corporate Government" and "Agency" you may choose the first one (personal). Then press "Submit"

3)As soon as you submit, you will receive a mail from the official site of boltbrowser. There you find 4 links which they will propably look like these above:

    Dual Signed Build: http://boltbrowser.com/b/blablablabla
    VeriSign Signed Build: http://boltbrowser.com/b/blablabla
    Thawte Signed Build: http://boltbrowser.com/b/blablablablabla
    Unsigned Build: http://boltbrowser.com/b/blablablablabla

It is propably recommended to use the signed versions.
In my case, i couldn't install them(propably from the same reason that i couldn't install googlemaps after the new flash). Thus, it woked with the Unsigned Build version.

Anyway, no matter what a link you use, you have to know 2 things

    a) the 4 link codes provided can only be used once

b)in order to install bolt properly to you phone, you have to use the link codes from YOUR NATIVE BROWSER.

In my case, I have motorola a1200 with an opera version of montavista preinstalled(like the most a1200 if not all)
So, in other words, you will open the url http://boltbrowser.com/b/blablablabla from the native browser of your mobile if you want for example to install the Dual Signed Build version.
Once you open the url, download will be performed and then you may install it automatically(i preffered to install it in my external memory card)
    And then you are done!!!
you may notice that when running YouTube - Broadcast Yourself. and want to search for a video the page will need to be reloaded and then provided for streaming.
Actually, while streaming, bolt converts video to 3gp format and then gives the command to your native browser to find the location of the converted video. Finally, the location is redirected to realplayer in which you may enjoy watching the video!!!

In my moto a1200(R541_G_11.52.12R Amin monsterpack under macknick's mask) , bolt works great!!!

1)if your realplayer doesn't open and it says "problem happened" or "uknown error" then propably your realplayer is by default related to an other data connection and not to yours.
To fix that, install linksys . . .see that post http://www.motorolafans.com/forums/e...p-linksys.html or any other related and follow the instructions.

Linksys is an application that allows you to use the root directory in the user interface of your A1200.
As soon as it is installed, you tap once at the application and then it says "roorfs enabled".
Then you may go to filemanager/MyRootFS /root/ezx_user/download/appwrite/setup directory and tap with your stulys for some seconds(double click) at the ezx_realplayer.cfg -> choose open with a text editor( NO NOTEPAD)

(You can find one at this post :
    http://www.motorolafans.com/forums/a...placement.html)

Finally you will see some parameters there. Try to find "MediaProxyItem".
Configure the Profile name of network. if you use proxy for your data connection, configure ProxyAdress , i.e. 192.168.200.10, ProxyPort = 9401 and then press save.
The above action may be done also with other methods
Try again to see if ti works.

2)If the native browser redirect the location of the 3gp video to your realplayer and then realplayer cannot load it, then it is propably because of a bug........

I have noticed that when is activate flip application, so that i can use my ming with the flip close, bolt browser faces unexpected error and realplayer cannot load any video.
Try to find if you use any such application (like flip) by default and then deactivate it. disconnect your data connection and then again reconnect.

    3)Check also your data connection.
In my case, it works with Gprs Connection of Wind in Greece, with the cost of wap connection(it uses wap protocol)

open the desktop version <www.youtube.com> not the mobile version, and finally you can see the video player in the video page of youtube, there click play button. if the browser made you to use the native player then accept it.
