Just opened my brand new a1200e and nothing will work. Help appreciated greatly.

Hi. this is my first post and I am very excited about my a1200. I already have a problem though. I just opened my phone and have it plugged in charging and it is in chinese. I've read up on how to change the language but my ming will not allow me to open up anything or enter any menu. On the screen there are two lines of chinese at the top and one line at the bottom and I have no idea what it says. If anyone knows whats going on I would greatly appreciate the help. thanks.

I need more info,do you see a home screen or just a blank screen with words.
Also where did you buy it?

Nevermind. As soon as i unplugged my phone and started running on battery power everything started working fine and I successfully changed the language to english. Thanks though MANUP456 for the quick reply. Admins feel free to delete the thread.
