Opie (The Open Palmtop Integrated Environment)

I want install this Linux on my A1200. I supposed that anyone will say: "THIS IS A CRAZY MAN", but I think that if is Linux base we can adjust to our A1200 like OpenMoko or QTopia. For all that unknow what is this follow this link: http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opie.

I want to start to develop onto Linux based system, I'm researching information about this. But I want to know if this SO can be supported.
