Can't enable edge on my friends Ming... please help!!!

Ive read every single guide and troubleshooting post there is and still are having trouble... we can't get the light to turn green (always blue) on radiocom in modem mode. We tried doing the terminal fix that alpha posted but we couldn't type anything on the screen, however the phone was in modem mode and the port was Com3. Also tried pointing the wizrd at the motopcs drivers or letting the machine find the software automatically. Still gets the same message error when running the edge script.... any ideas on how to help me will be gladly appreciated...

try downloading p2k drivers. u can get them at modmymoto.com. i get the green light on mine but after doing every thing that this forum says i still do not see an E
