motorola ming not connecting to pc via usb

hi ,i have a motorola ming A 1200r, but it is not connecting to pc desktop or laptop via usb d message on the phone says switching to mass storage but thats all that happens.the phone charger in the same port works well.does anyone know what to da? thanx

Try this when the phone is connected via usb go into settings an set your usb to modem then save it,now go back into usb settings an set it back to mass storage this should work its a pain in the backside but works. If this does not work I would flash it cause this has happend to me a few times with my a1200r.

i have gprs on ming A 1200r but when im on the internet and downloading stuff i dont get normal phone calls.is there anything i could do to get phone calls while im on the internet?
