Well, to access the overall hardware vol level, click on the top left corner of exmms and then on configue.

I think it's the first or second option. Keep it below 80.

i tried it with 3.5mm stereo headset but can hear any sounds.. im wondering it because if i broke my current headset then i have a difficult time in finding the original headset
