    Default Newbie with a question

This is one GREAT site with sooo much information, and I'm so glad I have found this web site and great communite where everybody gets along!

Here is my question, I've just purchased the a1200 but I'm trying to figure out what version do I have. It has a lanyard loop at the top right, but when I look at the fw it is a R532_G-11.00.46ppb. So it's a generic h2 track so I thought, but it doesn't have any chinese language support on it and insteat, it has full spanish support. I looked at the lable underneth the battery, but all it said is A1200 with no letter following it.

In conclusion, do I have a a1200(h2 fw), a1200r(the lanyard loop), or a1200i(spanish language support only)?

Much thanks in advance, and am looking forward to flashing this phone and unlocking it's true potential!!

P.S. if i flash it to the the EE, does it comes with english T9 support? cause right now, all I get is spanish word prediction

Looks like you have a standard a1200(with a spanish LP monsterpack), possibly produced at a later date which incorporated the lanyard strap (although I could be wrong). Based onn your FW, you can flash to any H2 or C2 Track FW (C2 would be recommended....Amins EE1 is among the BEST), without problem and your language issue should be solved as well.

Thanks nodramachicks! And yes, I'm going to flash to the EE mp since it seems to be the best one right now. I've lost the USB cover, did anyone has that problem before? Do I really need to get a replacement cover cause I don't think the E6 even have one at all to begin with.

i personally wouldn't replace MINE if it got damaged as i plug n un-plug my phone QUITE often. the only risk you run is getting foreign matter inside of your phone (I take mine apart once a month or so to clean it anyway).
