[REQUEST] PKG app that runs scripts!

Hi all,

It just occured to me that a simple PKG application that runs user-set scripts would be useful. Of course, you wonder why someone wouldn't use the autorun.txt startup file. Because some firmwares do not support this, unfortunately! I use yan0's startup PKG utility that ONLY runs PKG apps on startup. This kind of application requested would allow us to run scripts too (that are set by the user in a special file for instance). It should be easy enough for someone with some experience to do. Please reply!

EDIT: For example, Linloader would do the job if it ran a certain fixed script when executed (The user-set script i.e. "script.lin" would run at the app's execution without any run-time user input prompts). Would it be easy to make a LinLoader mod to achieve this?

EDIT: A'ight I'm gonna try to modify an existing PKG app in order to make the app I've requested on my own. I don't have any experience but I think I'll make it Probably on the weekend, when I'll have the time. In the meantime, any ideas would be nice!

Hi people, I've solved my problem by creating a tiny app of my own. By using yan0's startup manager (http://www.motorolafans.com/forums/a...tml#post160639) along with this app, you can execute script code as well as PKG apps when your phone starts. No need to reflash to autorun-enabled firmwares!
