Google Maps My Location working?

Just wondering if anyone here has gotten Google Maps My Location feature working on their phones. I ask because I had to download my google maps mobile from another site and couldn't get it from google because I would keep getting error messages. So I don't know if I have the most up to date version. So anyone get this to work on their phone?

I am actually having the exact problem downloading from the map app from google. Although when I install from anywhere else the app starts then quickly exits.

Anyone else see this?

No, My Location still isn't working in the new version.

mine works, i got it from www.wap.getjar.com through my phones browser. and it works great. plus they have a billion apss and stuff. one stop for all our needs. trust me
