thnx guys...but the network update option in TIME is not in .08p?
can anybody suggest a nice firmware?
Motorola Defy MB525 on GingerBread 2.3.3.
Motorola A1200 on Custom built.
Your phone is running on H2 track. Development of this firmware has stopped. You can upgrade to the C2 track. I flashed my phone with Amin's EE pack recently and believe me it is worth the pain. Although I was quite reluctant to change my phone's default firmware (08p) at the beginning, I am now thinking I should have upgraded much before.
Regarding the date & time problem, its due to the internal battery, I am having the same problems. Though I think this is not a big problem, but you can still use RadioComm Seem Edit to enable the Automatic Network Time option in date & time setting. This will sort out the problem for the time being (until you take you phone to the service centre to change the battery), though the time set for ISTs is still not correct, through this Edit.
Thanks i m now on c2 track with EE..hybrid..
exploring this new system..
