Video recorder quality! Can it be improved?

I was wondering if there's a way to improve the video recording quality?

Anyone aware of any such app?

it's not really about applications, it's more about firmware but there IS a limitation on what our cameras CAN do.....

I agree on the limitation part but a 2 mpx camera can do much better then the default video quality.
