HI, I follow this tutorial, I assembly back the phone, and works fine a few days, but then the touchscreen do not respond, and theres one black rubber piece I can´t find where to place it, Can You help me Please?.....

dis-assemble again and make sure ALL FLEX connectors are properly connected

Please give me more info/pic of the black rubber peice that you are referring too. Also, if your touch screen is not responding, you have a bad connection. take it apart again and make SURE all of your FLEX connectors are securely fastened, this should solve your problem

Hey Frenz,

I dropped my Ming tragically .. and the result that the screen has gone white...... its still working though.... i can take calls and all!

Even I tried disconnecting a call using the screen (by aproximating where the "ignore" sign might be) and its working..... that means just the screen went white, the rest is fine......


What can I do to restore back the display??

Its ok branny. your question is anyway related to disassembling your phone.
You'll, in all probability, need to replace the display on your phone. You just need to buy a display only, since the digitizer seems to be working well. If I remember correctly there is a post that explains how to replace the display. just follow the instructions and your Ming would be back on its feet!
