    Default MPKG on A1200E R541_G_11.56.11P

    Hi

    I recently got my A1200 (I think it's a A1200E)
    I have the Firmware R541_G_11.56.11P

I've try I everything I've found here to install MPKG.
Nothing work. I can install MPKG,
But when I select .pkg, and choose MPKG the phone show me error message something like "invalid application."

I download different type of MPKG and different version.
None work. I,ve try other app that are suppose to unpack .pkg and none work.
By the way I put my .pkg file in my flash card. Is it right ?

    REcently I've found this :
    Firmware: R541_g_11.56.11r - Page 2 - MotorolaFans.com Forums

I don't understand what to do.
I mean I know how to use Hex editor, but where ?

I want to create new app but I can'T work if I can use MPKG and I can't find information on my firmware, and as I can see I'm not the only one who like it and who search for information.
R541_G_11.56.11P is stable, long battery life, I don't have problem with this fw except for the MPKG.

Is there a way ? It seem like yes with the page I've found.
    I need help please.

IF I flash my A1200E with a new Firmware... I found the 14R. It seem better than the 11R and accept MPKG and is also Quad and Edge (anyway I could have do this it seem edit)

But I want to know. I'm in canada, on Rogers Network (GSM 850 & 1900) If I flash my phone will I still be able to connect to the network or I'll have setting to ajust or have to unlock the phone. I never worked with linux phone...

when you flash your phone you will have to re-enter all of your network settings aso if you currently have WORKING settinggs for SMS/MMS/INTERNET, i'd advise you to write them down cuz you'll need them LOL

The flash is unlocked so it will not lock you to any carrier
