Thread: messaging

    I'm trying to receive picture messages. I was wondering if there was a trick? I cant get any profiles to connect for internet or to download a picture? when i change my message profile is tells me its too big when i try to type? I know this is a bad explanation but anyone have any ideas?

    lol it is a vrey small carrier in MO, Chariton Valley...

    Then in that case you would have to contact them to see what their settings are, as well as their size limits for sending MMS.

    im lost with this...i call the provider (chariton valley) and they say its my phone. I do to the settings-data network-and there are 2 settings...Chariton_MMS and Chariton _WAP. i click either of them and click connect and it fails. is there anything that has to be done to the phone to get it to work? i was able to get this phone to use the net thru the usb cable so i dont know what to do...

    Under data network you should only have one Chariton profile. Then you would have to get the settings squared away in your mms setup and your browsers setup.

    Either way, all 3 need to be setup for you to have internet and mms.

    i've heard that my firmware 53P could be the problem?

    your firmware should have nothing to do with your ability to send/rec sms?mms/internet. i had 53p for almost 2years and had ZERO problems with any of the 3. you NEED the correct settings in all 3 places (internet profile, sms and MMS) in order to be able to send/rec
