  1. Default Q: Is there an application that will allow scrolling without using the scroll bar? Like the iPhone

The scroll bar on the side is a pain, especially when using my finger. Is there any application or edit that will allow me to run my finger up and down the screen and scroll? Sorry if this has been addressed before but I have searched and found no useful answers.

    ya u r right!!
it's quite difficult to scroll and also the icons flicker while scrolling
    someone plz look into it!!
up-dwn joystick moves to the next icon.if right-left joystick would move to the next lineup of menus then that would do the job

i think this would mean whe have to change and modify TOTALLY the firmware. An application can't make this....or.....it's very improbable....

shouldn't be TOO hard to create, it's more a function of progrmming than anything else. XPTools scrolls by onscreen touch not scrollbar on the side....

there's an application for the PC that will create an invisible number pad grid on the phone screen so you can use non touch screen apps on the ming. i don't see any reason why you couldn't take the same concept and apply it to scrolling up and down in apps on the ming. of course you might have to run each app through the converter (on your PC) but that's not a big deal.

That converter is for java apps, Im pretty sure he means the phones menus, like contacts and such, rather than individual apps.

Really? But, how fast is the scrolling? I wish the ming scrolling was fast like iphone scrolling....

I am not familiar with writing programs but I like to play around with stuff sooo if someone could point me in the direction of a program I would be happy to start messing around with it.
