Hello
Can you share your steps how u connected internet over bluetooth i.e sharing internet connection 4m PC to A1200 using bluetooth...
Please I need this
Infact complete forum needs it
Hoping 4 a qick reply
Hi, I always read this forum, but this is my first post.
My phone is an A1200i, bought in Argentina, with its flash updated to A1200R(R532C2_G_11.30.30P)
A couple of months ago, I started trying to establish a "BlueFi" connection, using ppp over bluetooth to connect to Windows XP to share my broadband connection with my phone.
After reading several tutorials and investigating a little, I was able to establish the connection. And it seems to work well, but when I try to transfer a file via Samba, telnet to my phone and "cat" a heavy file, or browse with the embedded explorer a big page, the connection is automatically closed.
Can anybody tell me was going on here? Thanks...

Hi, funky12,
There are several tutorials out there that explains how to do it:
1) Open in your PC an outgoing Bluetooth serial port
2) Run in the phone the PPP server daemon, pppd, with the appropriate parameters to receive a connection
3) Connect your PC to the phone via Windows "Direct Cable Connection", using the port you created before
I suggest you to find in this forum, but you need some knowledge about PPP in order to make it work.
I'm working in a program to do all this automatically. But until I realize what happens with the link at heavy traffic(ie. transferring a file) it won't be very useful.
I want it too, please!
I brought a bluetooth donkey and I can't do a file transfer through this. The flashcard is not visible as a hard drive.
Thanks,
