Q: Can I change default voice of VR?

i have a question exampell in voice tag we have a sound say pls say a command or name
i wana to know can change this voice from man voice to weman voice ?

Can I change the Voice Response Voice?

No - At this time no way has been found to change the VR voice, the words it says or the speed. Generally, people have found the VR does not work very well as fails to understand many commands.

Nor can you uninstall it, disable it or reassign the VR button.

after 2 years from biuld this phoe not yet is very bad news
i dont think ppl work on this old mobile and work on new mobiles fro all brands then we must left our want apps

You can change the words it says, i did it. It was in a spanish forum.

I've this in my startup1.txt

if [ -f /mmc/mmca1/Sistema/command.spa ]
then
cp /mmc/mmca1/Sistema/command.spa /tmp/command.spa
mount --bind /ram/tmp/command.spa /usr/language/vui/spanish/command.spa
fi

In your case, it should be command.eng i think. Couse .spa is for spanish.
You have to copy that file and edit it with Wordpad or Ultraedit to whatever you want.

what about english what command must edit ? and work it in english mode ?

update i use this :

but dont change sound to femail
any body ?


and defoult spanish is woman voice no need to startup
