Q: How do I get webcamera to work? (FW: 24xp46p30_bint_emea)

i flashed with this 24xp46p30_bint_emea a couple of days ago..it has a webcamera mode in usb...but when i select it and plug it in..nothing happens..pc doesnt even detect it, any ideas why?! thx

i'm not sure if there's an issue with your firmware (since i'm on 53p) but here is a thread that discusses the webcam APP at length with file download....this MIGHT solve your problem

thx for the reply, but the link u gave me is for an app, what i have is a webcamera usb mode integrated into the firmware i flashed...and when i connect it to the pc, nothing happens at all..

i understand the link is for an app, but you might NEED the app to make it work....lemme look thru the firmwares and see if there's any reference

just looked thru the thread referenced in the guide to firmwares and flashing (which shows webcam as one of 5 USB modes) and couldn't find reference to the webcam function at all....

If you do a seaerch for "WebCam" in the Guide to Flashing sticky you will see that no one has yet been able to get this USB mode to work properly on the A1200.
