Help: Phone constantly reboots after doing Edge Seem edit

Hi anybody in the Forum

My phone is restarting continuously after doing the Edge process on my A1200,, Below is the clear thing what i did:

1.) First i have made Quadband by following the process in the link-- http://www.motorolafans.com/forums/s...?t=7372&page=7

2.) After this i made the process of Edge enabling on ming by executing the Edge.tcs file via RadioComm in to the runtestscripts feature. For this please find the attachment of .tcs file which i used for EDGE enabling process

3) After doing the above both, i did master reset in my phone , after this,, my phone is continuously restarting.

even after taking out the battery for some time, it is still happening in the same situation, that is continuously restarting.

Please Guys help me in this situation , as i am unable start my phone evan plzzzzz guys what should i doooooo,,, Please should i Flash my phone now???

Hi Dellsonic,

As per your suggestion,
To Do again EDGE process, it is not even waiting a second after starting the phone, with in fraction of second it is getting restarted continuously,, Plzzz help mee Dellsonicccc

take out your sim card.

turn on the phone.

enable edge.

insert SIM

Thanks a Lot, But still in same problem, After removing the SIM from my phone and restarted the phone, now the phone is stable it is not restarting......

--> But how to Enable EDGE???? in the phone??
Please please help me g4m3rz

Please always read the FAQ sticky and Guide to Modding sticky at top of forums before posting questions to save people (like me ) having to write the same answers over and over!

This problem has been covered many times before and there is a whole section on it in the Guide to Modding sticky with step-by step instructions on how to solve it. Look for section "J How to enable Edge".

It also helps forum readers if you put a meaningful title to your post. If everyone just put "Help me" then the forum would quickly become useless!! I have changed it for you this time. Thanks.

I am really happy to see your response for my post,,
And i am really sorry for posting my issue with in inappropriate manner, From next time onwards i will be very careful on any new posts in future.

Please kiwiguy,, can you gimme a possible solution for my problem as it is still in the continuous reboot situation only..

What should i do now?? Please help from this situation!!!!

Did you follow the steps from the Modding sticky?? Which specific step is not working? Here are the steps copied from the sticky:

1. Turn phone off
2. Remove the SIM card.
3. Turn the phone on with no SIM and select 'no antenna' when prompted during bootup.
4. At this point, all your seem edits are gone (yuk).
5. Connect phone to computer and launch radiocomm
6. Perform the EDGE seem edit again with the SIM card out
7. Reboot phone
8. Turn off phone,
9. Reinstall the SIM card
10. Power it back up and problem should be fixed.

Hullo Kiwiguy,

First of fall, Thanks a Lot for your help to get rid from this stinky problem for my phone,
- I am really sorry for not searching it properly from the forum, as the solution is available in our house for my issue.

- I followed your steps in "J" section of Guide to Modding and followed ur steps carefully and restarted my phone after completing the process with including SIM card in it.

- Finally the problem of "Continuous Rebooting of phone"
is gone out and now my phone is fine.
