Q: How can I use Ming as GPRS Modem in Ubuntu (Linux)

How can I use my A1200 as a GPRS modem in ubuntu linux?
I changed USB mode to USB MODEM but when I trying kppp to connect, it goes in Exit Status: 16
I tried this way of using by too many other Phones Like Sony Ericsson and Nokia phones, but I cant do it with my Ming

Just adding this 2 lines below in /etc/ppp/options

Hey,

i am hoping that some one could solve this for me because i am in grave need of this.
I have a Red Hat Linux 5 Installed on my PC and i dont know how to make my mobile modem detect in it and also what steps to perform to setup an internet connection thru GRPS. The problm is that i dont have Ethrnet coming at my place and its not possible either, thats y i want to use my phone's GPRS plan to go online.
Some body help me out please.
I would be really greatful.
