Q: How can I remove beep from recorder?

i wana remove this beep every 10 sec from call recorder i search all the net nothing and nothing
everything are for nokia nothing for linux
what is this cell phon
no answering machin
no biutifull game like iphon
no handy photo safe that program
not not not
but nokia had all of this
exampell i wana a solither or backgamon i have but very ogly i want nice graphic and touch screen
anyway
how i can remove beep from call recorder

Wow man...take a deep breath. The beep from the recorder is present on all Motorola phones, as you are required by law to inform all parties that you are recording a conversation, if you plan to use that recording for any purpose later on....you can't turn it off.

Answering machine is based on your provider, like 99% of cellphones out there.

Photo safe program? What's that? Picsel allows you to view your pictures if you need, and it comes preinstalled.
i have a lot of games that have great graphics and gameplay, i don't really know what you are talking about.

Looks like you should have bought an iphone or a nokia (both of which would have cost you at least double the current price of the A1200).

i know law but is this law just for motorola ? why not nokia? if you search the net you see more more program for recording call without beep and all of them sis
i want back gamoon i found Backgammon LITE but cant install it need net and i cant connect to net with my moto if you have 2 game 1 backgamon and 3 soliter with great graphic pls take a link
i like moto and hate nokia but my question is why all program for nokia and a little for us

you can record an outbound call without a beep ...

to do that you need to dial the number and start recording before the call connects.. this way recording would be on and there will not be any beeps..

unfortunately, there is no way you can turn off the beep on a incoming call... using the native recorder at least.

the beep file is in phone system files under usr/SYSqtapp/phone/Notification_5.mid
put a blank audio file like 'silent.mid' on the root of SD n copy n paste this script in 'startup1.txt' on SD root... reboot the phone to have silent recordin of calls

oh ya ! forgot to mention that
for default fw it can be done by eKonsole but need to type this in ekonsole everytime the phone is booted
