Q: Firmware Version R541_G_11.56.09R?

Hey guys im knew to this site and i was doing my research on fw versions and i was unable to see my fw version just wanted to know if i can get guided in the right direction my fw reads
R541_G_11.56.09R and it states that it is a quad band

I have not heard of that firmware before - though it appears that it is part of the Edge series track (I assume Edge is enabled on it?). Perhaps it is a specialized country version - where did you purchase it? How new is it? Does it have any special languages on it?

Can you do a review on it for us please - here is writeup from Firmware sticky for 34P - how does this one differ?

Im going to go through the review tomorrow and get back to you guys from what ive seen so far is when i bought the one it had the E and then it was gone its was bought in NYC on the 6th, gotta get back to work ill try to get it finished before the week is up BTW smart assistant dosent work on my phone.

I am looking for some assistance on modifying my A1200E. I bought it a couple of days back in Toronto, Canada. I've been reading through the forums as I am interested in exploring all it's capabilities. Not sure what I should and shouldn't do as I don't see my phones firmware listed anywhere and am concerned that I won't be able to flash back if something goes wrong. Right now I am just looking at changing the phones skin/icons/text and installing some more useful aps. I have entered many of the details of this phone below. Any guidence would be greatly appreciated.

just play around wit the basic programme softwares startin wit mpkg installer..DONT try to flash
while installin theme use only earkin's new theme installer..DONT do .lin installation

laksluvmoto...I appreciate your advice. One more question! Much of what I've read about modding the theme of the Ming has indicated that there may be issues requiring you to flash if something goes wrong. Am I safe to use earkin's new theme installer to avoid any of these potential problems? How much risk is involved, if any? Thanks for the help!

there's absolutely no risk in usin new earkin's theme installation !
if stil u think of being more cautious then instal 'dspace.pkg' or 'horsepower' applications n check the ezx_user space before rebootin the phone after installin a theme

Thanks for your help to this point. Unfortunately, I am unable to get MPKG installer to work. I have followed the instructions provided (replacing the .system folder and then restarting the phone). I have tried installing 4 dif. versions of the installer provided in the Guide to Modding your A1200 with each giving me the same error. It is unable to open the associated .pkg file. I also tried installing SmartAssist and received the same error. The only method I didn't try was the alternate install for the MPKG installer meant for 25p and 34p which required a partial flash. I wasn't sure if I should do that with my firmware. Can you provide me with any assistance to get over this hurdle? Thanks again.
