EDGE USB Modem Port Speed

Hai Friend. I had Enabled EDGE on A1200R. Every thing is find but when i connected it to my PC it show it's connected at 115.2 Kbps. I had set all my modem setting in my PC to 230400 Port Speed But still no use .

I also face this same issue. Perhaps someone with a true A1200E can connect and post his results ??

I have the same issue, I enabled Edge, and my internet provider tells me that 520 kbits is available for my line, but due to phone limitations only 125 kbits is obtained. Is there any known way to change the settings of the phone modem speed?
I´ve read others reviews and they tell that have greater speeds than 125.
Any administrator that can share the mooding? Or it is not posible.

i use airtel gprs for my internet in India. can someone please tell me how to set the speed greater than 115.2 kbps

I been looking for a guide in how to increase or get a higher speed using the A1200 as a modem but didn´t find anything useful. I did tried to enabling compression by software in PPP configuration and obtained more stable speeds and finally got 140 kbps when doing speed test. I did tried 2 more phones, a V3 (440kps on modem) and a V3i (1.23 Mbps on modem) with the same phone carrier (didn´t know if they had Edge enabled) and got speeds below the 100 kbps.
Do any A1200 owner disregarding the model or firmware has got modem speed detected by the computer greater than 115 kbps?
