I thought it would be a good idea to consolidate all the new ideas and requests that we get for new softwares and mods. That would mean the genius developers here can come look here when they feel like creating new applications

Here is my wish list:

1. Access FM radio with flip closed
   With the no of FM stations on air, it will be nice if we can switch between stations without having to open the flip just like we do in RealPlayer.
2. Scheduled profile changer. Schedules on Weekly, Daily and Adhoc basis.
   This would greatly help ppl like me who put their phone on silent/vibrate and then forget to change it back and miss calls because of that.

It would help if everyone who watches this thread reports any development on ideas listed here back here so that we can keep track of the ideas.

uummmm.. an easier way for changing skins

1. Ringer ID / Message ID so that personalized alerts are also implemented for SMS/MMS and email messages

2. Wallpaper showcase for when the flip is closed so you can show off the opaque cover and your kickass wallpaper.

3. Voice record during conversation without the beep every 10 seconds.
(good for business when all you got is a verbal agreement until you get your contracts written up. i've used it with some of my business partners, they thought it was a cool thing that the MING can record conversations but the beeping was annoying.)

4. Button mapping. so we can assign some of the buttons as soft keys for apps that don't allow for touch screen.

Im using smart assistant, and its just a simple click on the theme file and it installs.... also no need to revert back to default skin before changing to a new one.

i tried smart assistant to install themes after readin ur post n really its more easier n best part is it automatically reboots the phone after the install
i also installed different themes in series just to see if phone gets into any trouble but nothin like that ! its perfect ! really nice
but for installin on n off gifs splash installer is needed as SA cant handle .phm files

How about some mods as well? To start off how abt a mod to add more categories to the application launcher?

A Better battery meter, may b an app which when run will give the correct battery status, if its not possible to alter the one in the status bar.

Mod to change the content limit of the default notepad.

Some more ideas from my side.

1. It wud be nice to have an app that would read the birthday and anniversary details from the contacts and alert us on that day. That would avoid setting up individual reminders in calendar.
2. An SMS counter would be a nice addition.
3. Mod to set delivery report by default for SMS as well. Currently this is available only 4 MMS on my .08p FW. -This one has been accomplished... Check out here

Looks like I'm the only person posting here these days. Being a loner doesn't make me feel bad, but it would be really great if we have more contributions.
