Q: Theme's icon returns to default icon when clicked?

does anyone of you face this problem
when an icon is highlighted it turns to the previous default icon in any theme i apply

It happens to me... i'll try & look in the skin making procedure for any reason why this happens..

This might be the rason why this is happening

iconres.ezx is used by merged it with default icon file in /usr/data_resource/icon/iconres.ezx.

new feature of A1200 is animated icon. in Home icon set, icon 'll display animated when got focus. animated icon is in GIF animate format and It's name have suffix "Ani".

So if the creator of the skin chooses not to make the Ani files, when you install the skin, the Ani icons from the old skin remains.

So earkins skin installer performs the installation with MERGING the icons in /usr/data_resource/icon/iconres.ezx, not by deleting /usr/data_resource/icon/iconres.ezx & copying the new file.

Use skin in Mototheme Beta forums in this site. I'm add all XXXX_ani, all A1200-only icons and all E6-only icons. most of skin in mototheme are only port from E680i by changing mtf into .lin.

i can install my theme by running the .lin file and the themes in mototheme beta link has no .lin file in it

use earkins skin & splash installer to install the skins.. you don't have to use the lin files anymore to install the skin. The skin & splash installer are much safer. Installing with .lin files involves a fare amount of risk.
