looking for SMS backup software
need help in finding a backup software for sms for a1200, got lots of important messages and i cant flash my phone because of them. mpt only backs up the contacts and calendars.

Superman can do that. After reflashing or master-clear you can restore your messages, contacts and radio stations.

Heheh...yes it is. Smart Assistant is the name of the program...Lovingly referred to as Smart Ass. Its a good one. Sort of the "newer" more powerful version of Superman.

flashed from 53p to 24x30
I just flashed my 53p to the C2 track 24x30 and wow, I am really happy with the flash. The phone is much quicker and seems to have all the promised enhancements as I read on the forums, txt and sms send quicker, no limits on size (or not nearly as limited I should say).
I knew when I flashed that I would lose everything, and the messages I wasn't worried about. So I backed up with MPT and then did a restore and got my contacts / calendars back just the way they were. However, since then, if I open MPT and go to the INBOX area, it lists all of the current sms messages that my phone lists, but it also lists all of my old SMS messages as well. I can't see them on the phone itself, but I do see them on the inbox of the MPT software. I can still export them, forward them, or even delete them from there if I wish.
I was just going to go through and delete them because I don't really care, but I just thought it was interesting that I am still able to see them at all after the flash...lol.
