Cartão de Memória a1200i

Sou novo por aqui, e recentemente comprei um a1200i fabricado no brasil e observei que o cartão de memória transflash aparece como inativo. Aonde vejo esta informação é clicando na barra que tem o relógio irá abrir uma tela com muitas funções. Descendo a barra de rolagem aparece o cartão transflas, e no meu caso dito " inativo" e o botâo ejetar desativado. Detalhe: o telefone está com cartão de 128 mb.

Pq ele aparece inativo?

i think that what you are trying to do is get your phone to recognize your 128MB memory card

• SD Card does not appear in File Manager

If your SD card suddently stops being displayed in your File Manager then try the following**

1. Reboot phone

2. If still no luck then go to Viewer --> storage card then go back to File Manager and see if SD card has reappeared.

3. If still no luck then try a Master Reset

** If could also be happening if you do not disconnect the phone from your PC properly. When the phone is plugged into the PC in MASS STORAGE mode, the control of the SD card is given to the PC. If you disconnect the hardware properly via windows USB RELEASE process (like you should do for any USB drive), then the SD card is restored to the phone. If you are just pulling out the cable, then the card may not be restored to the phone correctly. If this is happening, then simply plug phone back into the PC and use the USB release process..

Thanks you a lot for your reply even trying translating what I wrote in Portuguese. I did the 3 step that you suggested - connect to PC and disable the device instead of pulling just the cable from PC or phone. Does not worked. Still appears "memory card unavailable" when I do a click on the clock bar and acess the "device status" - that screen is where we can see battery energy status, antenna on or off, etc.... and below on the screen appears de memory card functions.

As you recommended do a "master clean". If i do that, Do I have risk to loose all my data like contact, e-mails, etc...?

Another question - one interesting think that is happening and is contrary what i have read in many manual is about when i connect phone to pc. I have the motorola phone tool installed in my PC and when I connect the phone to Pc, I just hear a sound like "priririm" and does not open a box as normally open for general USB device. I do copies, paste and transfer files directly from motorola software and not from "windons explorer" by drive E or F. Is this normal?

See the FAQ sticky - it has a section on doing a Master Reset and Master Clear - and what you will lose when you do so. It also lists some good backup programs you can use.
