Maybe you can provide links with where isilo reader is, for other devices, and our developers will start to figure it out.

And whats more, upload some isilo books so that we can we would be interested to read, and push the developers to create one.

    Wouldn't that be easy?

isilo is a software which can handle .pdb e-books. Im also looking for an isilo version for ming. coz, anyview which i installed n ming is not opening .pdb files. i will b grateful if someone gets a software like isilo to read .pdb books in ming.

Can you provide the links and info as requested by admin? Im sure the developers would work on it if they had something to go on. I would like to take a look as well...I might be able to come up with something if I have the details.

iSilo is not an open design. It is one of the few apps that I gladly paid for on my Palm. Maybe you could request a port to the Ming on www.isilo.com.

If this iSilo e-book is pdb compatible, maybe FBReader can open it. FBReader running on Linux desktop, Windows, Intel Mac, Zaurus, Opie, Motorola E680i, A780, etc

i LOVE anyview, but it jus doesnt read .pdd files (although in the release it claims to do so),i suggest you put anyview, download a converter for .pdb to txt (i think isiloX) can do this, and use Anyview 3.0 instead(its in the forum so go search it )

There are only two file types on a Palm: applications and data. "pdb" simply means it is a data file. iSilo data files are in a binary compressed format that is not open to the public. Only iSilo can read them as far as I know.
