I've just encountered this problem, cause I finally got around to really used this program. When I zoom in to a more detail level, mgmaps sometime does not fetch/refresh some panels. It looks like that it is stuck or not refreshing the maps to the specific zoom level. To solve that problem, I have to exit the program, and reopen it. By doing that operation, it does not always resolve the problem. It might from time to time, goes back to the default zoom level and location when you download the cache maps. I was using an older version, but now am using the latest stable one from the mgmaps website. I still encountered this problem, any one else?
Yeah, it's happened to me a couple of times. You are right, restarting the application won't always fix this issue. From my experience so far, this bug happens when you zoom in/out twice or more before all the required map tiles load. Now I don't encounter the same problem since I zoom in/out, wait till all the nearby tiles load and then zoom again, one at a time. Hope the bug will be fixed soon!

Have you tried other map software that allow online search/direction without this bug? Trackbuddy or Jtrust>>are just a map VIEWER right? And Google map mobile, can I still do offline map with it? It doesn't seem so from the web site.
