Q: What is good network troubleshooting app for A1200?

Just wanted to put out a request to our amazing developers we have. I work in a data center for web hosting and need a tool that will be able to do basic network functions.

- Ping
- Trace route
- NMAP
- Who-is
- SSH

The main ones are the ping function, trace route, and NMAP. Ive been using the console program for the ping function but since there is no CTRL key on our keyboard i cant stop the command so it goes on until i close the app or open another console. I assume this would be fairly simple but anything would help out. Thanks!

simply add "-cX" do the ping command...
as for the other commands, traceroute is included in busybox (that's part of most hybrid/modded firmwares), along with more network tools. You can also use EZX binaries for that, look if their binaries image contains nmap, traceroute and more binaries, if not, you may want to compile it yourself.

The applications not in my firmware. Ahh well... ill have to see what i can find. Thanks for the info. Hopefully i can find that busybox as an install instead.
