Ok, so in my multimedia message setup my options for checking boxes are a bit different. They say 'except in roaming' and 'except more than:' not 'not in roaming' and 'not more than:'.

Mine says the same thing

Just a FYI for those having problems

it is a firmware issue, I had issues reciving MMS messages and spent months trying to figure out my settings. I had the 44p generic firmware btw

I finally decided to flash to the 8p monster pack firmware and I can now SEND and

Recive picture messages with no problem with the same settings I tried before

if anyone else needs help with this issue feel free to PM me or post on this thread and I can walk you through all the steps if you need me to.

Very cool...between your firmware discovery and my settings... T-Mo users are in great shape! BTW... Bints 08P Plus on mine...and MMS works just fine!

I followed all of the instructions in the first post. however, even after the phone was updated, there was no "Picture Messaging" option under Profiles. What do I need to do to get it there?

well, i won't be able to even look at changing the firmware until i get back home. on a bit of hiatus right now. still a little leary about doing it though.

so it is true that the 53p fw can only send not recieve MMS. cause i just sent a picture message to one of my friends phones and they got it, but when they tried to send me one i didnt even recieve it. any help on the settings or is this something i can't fix unless i flash to a different fw?

I think thats what I had before I flashed to 08P Plus... and I had the same problem
