Help: Can not move files from phone to hdd

it use to work.. ive isolated the issue to the phone because the microsd card works on another computer.. and the sd adapter works with other sd cards on the computer.. . when i try to delete or drag something from my phone to the desktop.. it just shows a progres bar then nothing....

Eh? I dont follow...

So, the microSD works...you can drag files if you use it on another computer? And the SD adapter works if you put another microSD in it?

Cause if thats what I am understanding...then, no, its not the phone...its the microSD and the computer. Do you have it write protected?

I guess I need to know...are you taking the microSD out and using it with the adapter on the computer? Have you tried that? If that works, but it wont send while in the phone...then yeah, it could be the phone...otherwise, its the card or computer.

i tired the phone on a XP PC and it does the same thing.. I tried the microsd card with the sd adapter and it transfers fine.. but when i put it in the phone it doesnt.. how is that not the phone? how do you check the permissions or if its locked on the phone? i have read/write permission no the hard from what the properties say..

Hmmm...The only thing I can think of would be some protection on the phone transfer...

Go into your file manager and bring up the Memory Card...then click on the menu and select "more." Make sure it isnt password protected...there should be a little checkbox there.

Also, make sure you are setting the phone to Mass Storage on the USB mode settings...
