Question: What difference in EDGE vs GPRS for SMS and calls?

I was wondering if I enable the EDGE via the Radiocomm would I gain any advantage over regular SMSing and regular calls if I dont use any kind of internet connection?

If you dont use Internet then EDGE is of no use to you. It only affects internet speeds, nothing else.
