That's a good point, maybe a bluetooth keyboard will work?
so when i'm driving i try to text on my ming and i amost die 10 times a day so i was figuring... when not hook it up to a keyboard in the car? has anyone ever tried this and if so, how would i go about doing this? maybe just buy a wireless keyboard and a cord to convert it to fitting in the phone...

probably a kind of jackass answer but dont text while driving? everytime i do it, i feel liek i am going to crash so i wait until a catch a light and type as fast as i can..haha
how is the ming for texting, harder or easier then with a traditional number keypad phone, do you have to use the stylus?
I text all the time and it's definitely a bit more effort to compose any type of message... although the auto-word finder is pretty smart and most of the time, it knows the word i'm tryin to use...
however, i definitely don't recommend texting and driving...there are too many crack-berry addicts out there already... and those guys at least have a better keyboard for texting![]()
but it is interesting if bt keyboard will work with it
A normal keypad is very useful when you type very common words, in such situations it's better than a touchscreen keyboard, mainly because you know where the letters are and don't need to look at the keyboard.Originally Posted by PolishDude
But... (there's always a but), when it involves any kind of symbol, or when you are typing things that aren't words, like names, URLs, e-mails, numbers and so on, then the Ming keyboard shines.
Overall Ming's keyboard is definately an improvement over my last phone. The problem is that it requires two hands and full attention at the screen. Nothing beats a good old full keyboard though.
Recently, a really nice college girl was texting a friend while driving near here... she hit a family head on and killed most of them including the children.
It’s a horrendously irresponsible way to use technology (and drive).
That said, I would like an oversized texting keyboard for speed. Something that doesn’t require a stylus would be great!

hmmm I'm not a driver. And I'm just interested if BT keyboard will work with it?
I've tried to bond a Microsoft and Logitech BT keyboards to my Ming with no success. I'm sure we need a driver written.

Probably a safer, and better resolve would be some speech to text software.
