The ming does not have bluetooth HID so bluetooth keyboards will not work with the ming. This is one of my few complaints about my ming.
Motorola Ming/A1200 24xp30
Cingular Wireless/Media Net
1GB SanDisk Transflash Card
Ive seen a keyboard that connects to the usb.
I can be mistaken, but as far my little knowledge goes, mini-usb devices are powered by the master device, in which they are connected. That's the way devices like pen drives and mp3 players work. And that's why A1200i is charged via USB port also.Originally Posted by drunkendj
So, A1200i mini-usb port does not transmit energy, it just receives. Then, it can't power a mini-usb keyboard.

What about using a PC to control the phone? I know it's possible to telnet into the phone, but can the telnet connection be used to simulate keypresses?
Something like xmacroplay-keys or xkeywrap?
