By default it never seems to know the word im trying to type, is their a way to replace it with a better version?

I don't think there is a way to replace it

There is no other one that works but it's able to "learn" and always predicts the word that you used the last time. So maybe it's getting better for you after some time of writing

btw. I don't use it anymore for me it's more annoying than helpfull
