2, Copy 'Install2.lin' & 'SmartAsst.qz' to the same directory in TF card;

3, Run Install2.lin in cell phone(can be executed by superman,linloader,SmartAsst).

1, Enable 'Show hidden files and folders' in Windows XP;

2, Uncompress SmartAsst2_3_Manual.zip;

3, Switch to 'Mass Storage'and connect with computer;

4, 4.1, Entirely copy compressed folder".system"to TF card
and cover the same folder

4.2, Restart!
(Warning: the icons of apps installed in TF card will dispear)

or: 4.1, Copy uncompressed "/.system/QTDownLoad/SmartAsst"
to corresponding folder in TF card;

4.2, Open uncompressed "/.system/java/CardRegistry" by UltraEdit;

4.3, Open "/.system/java/CardRegistry" in TF card by UltraEdit;

4.4, Copy the script in step 4.2 to the bottom of file in step 4.3;

4.5, Restart (alternative)

This is all very confusing...

Specifically...1) Is this an upgrade from 34P? This says it is...I think? 2) Is it triband still or quadband? 3) C2 Track?

supposed to be an uodated version from 34p
band?... not sure yet

There appear to be 4 new fw's released by Yan0 :
yan0 A1200E_34P AP+BP
yan0 A1200E_34P
yan0 A1200R_31P AP+BP
yan0 A1200R_31P AP

See this thread for comments by folks who have tried them.

But in summary appears:
34P AP+BP is Edge enabled, but tri-band while
31p AP+BP does not have Edge, but is quadband.
No other major improvements have been noted in either fw yet.
