Yours phone is linux, that's just the boot image![]()
I thought the Ming A1200 was Linux-based.
Then I flashed to Bint's 53p (plus 3) firmware and now it says "Windows Mobile" on startup.
Is there a 100% Windows-free (Linux) way to run this phone?
Is it the version of firmware that determines which underlying OS is running?
If so, how do you know which firmware revs have Linux and which have Windows?

Curious-why would anyone add a Windows boot image to a Linux-based product?
Well I don't know, I would never put it![]()
