how can you change the default ringtone on the a1200?

Well if you want to use your own mp3 file just click and hold on the file via file manager and click apply as ringtone.

Thanks so much. I didn't realize you could set the general ringtone that way. However, I still can't access the default ringtones and set one of those. I can see the files using the motorola software on the computer, but I can't see the ringtones using just filemanager.

in your phone go to settup, ringer alert styles, edit (the profile u want to change)

change the tone for line1 ..

u'll see the default tone
