i was eakrins, but i hit a wrong button and jacked up everything...

anyway only one thing i cant figure out,

NODRAMACHICKS, remember when we had that long IM, then I you called me and walked me through my first theme and splash... well I remembered everything except the splash....

i know and have the files i need, but what folder under themes does my .phm file go under? I tried a few diff, but i install it and it says installed and restart but it never works....

how do i get my splash back? I know my on/off .gif files have to match the script and they do... only thing is where do i put that freakin .phm file to install it correctly

    thanks guys

lol, yeah i remember....you have learned well grasshopper!!! moved on to flashing...WOOHOO!!! good for you! you need to put the .phm file one level up....so outside of whatever folder your current theme lives in

Hmm...Actually, the .phm file should be in the theme folder with the on/off gifs. So, the theme folder should have these files:

    theme.pskn
    theme.skn
    iconres.ezx
    wallpaper.jpg
    on.gif
    off.gif
    PowerOnOff.phm

And really, as long as your phm file points to the gifs correctly, it doesnt matter...but most themes come with it in the theme folder, so its easier to word it/work it that way.

Thats probably what you meant, NDC, but it wasnt clear reading it...

    http://www.motorolafans.com/forums/s...ead.php?t=8128

the guide to firmware and flashing.

I was paranoid the first time I bricked my phone, but flashing isnt difficult, just read the instructions and you will be just fine.... or in my case even better than before
