Novin I have got a problem with new version:
when I try to install any pkg application phone says "unknown error extracting to destination directory"
but for gadgets and java apps every thing is fine.

Novin, I think that the autorun option is not working. I've tried changing the startup sound, startup animation and font by placing them on the respective folders, but nothing happens. Can someone please confirm this?

i am already aware of the pkg installation problem... I have already fixed it but am yet to upload the release... please wait for it till tomorrow...

About the autorun problem, r u sure the files are named correctly? check the logs folder in the autorun folder to see if anything is going wrong.

Anyways i will have another look again.

The log reads /mmc/mmca1/autorun/Backup/mail.db: Input/Output error. I double-checked the file names and the font name is myfont.ttf, startup animation name is on.gif and startup sound file name is startup.wav. Still not working.

Amir, the new version being put up, I am replacing alpha3 version with pkg fix. so download the same alpha3

I will be almost unavailable for a week because of other engagements. I am sorry but in the meanwhile please continue trying the firmware and check the website for any updates which i will probably inform on motorolafans before hand.

amir I have uploaded the fix as alpha3 with persian fix too... thats my last release till about a week or a bit more!
