i wil change my sim daily and i wuld wnt to gav the tim always into it...otherwis i cant use operamini with out enterin th correct tim...

wen i buy my mob 2year back and change the sim ,the tim would not reset..i lookin for that..that thing gone wen change my firmware..my preloaded firmware was 11p h2track..i think ur knowledge can take that frm thr and add in th nxt firmware update...thnxxx for sparin tim....

is this possible to connect to GPRS without EDGE?
EDGE connection makes it really problematic to connect to GPRS and data transfer when there is no EDGE support on network.

I do not know how to make to QTe applications and anyways applications cannot do what you want... This is a feature in recent firmwares... anyways I have never experienced anything like it because I do not switch sim cards.... Does the time reset when u pull the battery out without changing the SIM?

This firmware is EDGE and GPRS supportive... If there is EDGE support in the location, EDGE will be enable and if EDGE is not available simple GPRS will be enable.... there should not be a problem with using either....
Anyways, disabling EDGE is not possible.... or atleast I do not know how it can be done.
