Hi pal,
please send a SMS to your own number with a farsi letter, like "ژ" then check if it shows ? or "ژ".
I think I know where the problem is,:

/usr/SYStapi
/usr/lib/libezxtapi.so
/usr/lib/libezxmbtapi.so

try to replace these with non 16R base files and check the test above and see what's gonna happen

I reflash with the same (only replaced the font for ThreeSearch font, so we can test with My_FAVOR folder for this) and I thinks that all works fine.
We can check this (if it's correct).

I also tested the standard Amin's font (preloading with My_FAVOR folder and check for this in telnet session).
All works fine ( I send onother SMS for check)
So the "bug" it's the provider don't support Arabic Farsi letter (not the firmware or font)....

Strange for me see google RTL...
Epinter also gave me tips to solve the execution of native applications, this is not my language (I can not understand the letters ...) but in my small way I try to find a solution ...

Nice job marcolnx,
The main problem with the RTL firmwares is that it does not support running native language applications properly because of modified QTopia base...
anyways nice firmware overall

Unfortunately I know the problem of native applications ...
However, the firmware can do a lot (screenshot skin unrar unzip samba etc..).
I tried to include many things.
As soon as I finish to fix a problem with whiteming1 (send mms) I'd like to add some things.

hi, do you need the strings (farsi and arabic)and iTap arabic and quicktex arabic?
It's all inside so you can extract with ezxcodec.
Let me know if problem, and sure I will attach (I keep in my hard disk).

By the way, I installed the FW. I cannot compose SMS in Persian. Actually I dunno how to receive a "Persian keyboard"! All I got is an English keyboard. Help please. (
